News from Simplero: Living Your Purpose

bey-normal.jpgHi Lovely Simplerista,

In 2012 when I was living in India, I was setting up a session with my friend and mentor, Gay Hendricks. Because of the time difference, it ended up being a Sunday afternoon for him, Monday morning for me. I asked him: "Are you okay with working on a Sunday?" His response surprised me. He said:

"I haven't worked a day in my life for 30 years!"

I loved it. He enjoys what he does so much it doesn't feel like work.

That's how it's supposed to be. That's what I want for you.

In 2007 I happened to also be in India, this time though just on a yoga and ayurvedic 2-week vacation. At the time I was really struggling to be successful, and I sat there on the beach thinking "Once I'm successful, I'd really like to do something with teaching people life skills." Big lightbulb moment. Duh! Why wait? Why not do that now?

Helping people find that sweet spot where they're most happy, most fulfilled, most productive, most valuable, and most profitable, all at the same time, is behind everything we do at Simplero.

bey-line-normal.jpgLike John Mackey, CEO and foundor of Whole Foods, said:

“Making high profits is the means to the end of fulfilling Whole Foods’ core business mission. We want to improve the health and well-being of everyone on the planet through higher-quality foods and better nutrition, and we can’t fulfill this mission unless we’re highly profitable…. Just as people cannot live without eating, so a business cannot live without profits. But most people don’t live to eat, and neither must a business live just to make profits.”

While looking for that quote, I also found this:

“This is what we know to be true: business is good because it creates value, it is ethical because it is based on voluntary exchange, it is noble because it can elevate our existence, and it is heroic because it lifts people out of poverty and creates prosperity.”

That's how we want it to be.

If you want it too, say "I slay!"

nick-dagh-normal.jpgNew Features in Simplero

So much has happened recently, and I've ben remiss in telling you about them.

The big news this week was that our new WYSIWYG editor dropped. It's a huge improvement, and it's a platform that we can continue to build on. Yay for that! Huge props to Nick for his incredible work on this.

If you scroll down the blog, you'll see a list of all the things we've added over the past couple of weeks.

Trump's ghostwriter tells it all. Btw, he's part of our community. I met him at Conscious Capitalism conference in San Diego a couple of years ago, and he's also an author and speaker and workshop leader—in other words, an infopreneur.

Lots of love, people, talk soon,
