Yesterday, my son was playing in a concert, to show off what they'd learned during the year in music school. It was great to see.

One of the groups was playing Regndans, an old song by Danseorkesteret, from my childhood. Every time I hear it, I tear up instantly.

The story is about a woman named Isabella whose country is suffering from drought, and it's her job to dance to make the rain start falling. There's something about the devotion and surrendering is implied that touches me deeply. And there's something in the chords, the way he sings it, and the band plays it, that instantly connects with my heart.

It's obvious that the energy that a musician is vibrating with as he or she does their work that has the ability to connect deeply with something within us.

I believe, though, that that is possible with any product, anywhere. Any type of work from a tomato soup to an online course to a phone to a piece of software has the ability to be a vehicle for a spirit of enlightenment.

This is part of what Keri Nola and I talked about in the interview I just did with her.

Keri is a licensed psychotherapist who's had a thriving practice for the past ten years. Recently, though, she decided to transition from only doing client work, to adding a product component to her business. That's such a great way to grow your income, and to make yourself location independent, so you can make money while you travel.

Indeed, she just did that, recently spending a month in a house near the beach in San Diego.

New Features in Simplero

No new features to speak of this week. Lots of small tweaks as usual, but I'm busy at work on a new marketing site for Simplero (thanks to those of you who volunteered to showcase your work!), and Swanand's busy with Zapier integration. Hopefully we'll be able to share that with you soon!

Random stuff

I just finished watching the entire Breaking Bad series. Every episode of every season. It took me about 2 months, but it was so great. I'm sure many of you have seen it, but if you haven't, it's so worth watching. It's the best made TV show I've ever seen.

In a completely different department, check out this video about the leopard Diablo, who's life was completely transformed by a woman who communicates with animals. I'm pretty sure I myself sometimes do this with my dog. It's an incredibly heart warming story.

And finally, I loved the suggestion to "Don't Be a Very Serious Person" in this article here. Amen to that!
