Subject: News from Simplero: Please Welcome Kareem

Dear Lovely Simplerista,

I realized I hadn't taken a moment to officially introduce y'all to Kareem. People, meet Kareem.

Kareem is my new COO. He started working for me a little over two months ago, at the start of July, and I'm quite impressed with his attitude and what he's done for us so far. He's consistently bringing good people into the loop and making good judgment calls. A lot of you have already met him as he's taken over some of the customer service.

He lives here in New York, so that means we can meet frequently in person, which is great. He comes from being a COO—and for a long time also acting CTO—of a software startup here in New York called UniteUs.

His job is to grow Simplero, both revenue and team, so that by the end of his first year on the job, we have a full team of designers, developers, customer success people, marketers, and whatever else is needed for the continuing operation and growth, without having me as a bottleneck. I know he can make that happen, and I think it'll be fantastic for the company and for you, our customer.

So please welcome Kareem. He's of course kareem@simplero.com, if you need to reach him. Expect to hear more from him in the future.

New Features in Simplero

Nothing major this week, but we do have some exciting new stuff under development. I think you're gonna like it.

Seven Soulful Legal Protections Webinar

Lisa Fraley is the lawyer I've been using for Simplero since the US side of the business was founded in 2013. She helped me find out how to register the company on the exact right date, so that it was numerologically perfect, and she's been super helpful with everything about my not-so-typical way of conducting business, including changing the name of the company from Easyworld Teaching Institute to now Powerful Through Grace, again because of numerology. She's done our terms, our affiliate agreement, and pretty much everything else, and all the while been mindful of my values and my tone.

And now she's hooked up with my friends Keri and Lloyd to do a webinar on the seven soulful legal protections to support lightworkers.

It's Tuesday September 15 at 8pm EST, and you can register right here (affiliate link).

I highly recommend Lisa, Keri, and Lloyd, so do check it out.

Absolutely love this "2 kinds of people" blog. Hilarious.

This 21-year old is building India's largest hotel network. And I can tell you from personal experience, it's badly needed.

Finally a Steve Jobs movie that looks to be decent. Script by Sorkin, of course. Sad that The Newsroom ended. Looking forward to his next TV Show. Suits, by the way, has some of that Sorkinesque dialog. Unfortunately, that's on hiatus until January.

With love,
-Calvin
