News from Simplero: Commitment, Tiered Affiliate System

commitment-circle-medium.jpgHi Lovely Simplerista,

Something that's been a lot on my mind recently is commitment.

In life, you'll tend to get what you're committed to. And most of us forget to take that crucial step of fully committing. We make this error in our relationships, in our business, in health, in careers, and on and on.

So what does it mean to commit? A commitment is a full-body decision. You don't commit because you believe it's going to work, you don't commit becasue you think that's probably the right choice, you don't commit because someone tells you to. You don't commit for any reason, other than you decide to, in this moment.

And you decide not just with your head, but with your entire body. You can always change a commitment, of course, but in this moment, you choose to commit to whatever it is, heart and mind, body and soul. Or not. That's the deal.

So if you haven't fully committed to your business, I invite you to do it right now.

east-river-medium.jpgYou can start by saying to yourself, "I commit to creating a thriving and profitable business". You can say it on the inside or out loud. Feel how it feels in your body. Is there resistance? What's it about? Is there fear? Sadness? Say it a couple of times. Make sure you move and breathe in the process. Your whole body and mind need to be on board for this to work.

You may also find it useful to do a little movement on it. This morning, Nomi and I did a commitment circle. We rounded up all of Yasmin's dog toys, and used it as a prop to step
into. The stepping into symbolizes the commitment. It really does something. I felt so inspired I went through a range of areas in my life where I hadn't actually committed myself to the outcome I wanted. Health. Business. Relationships. Try it, it's really powerful.

There is no such thing as almost committed. 99% is the same as not committed at all. You're either fully commited, 100%, or you're not there. Keep revisitning the commitment, keep saying it in different ways, keep appreciating and releasing the resistance, keep playing with different body moves. If it doesn't change, maybe you don't actually want to commit? Or maybe you just
want to check in with this on a regular basis for a bit.

Committing is not a one-time thing. Things come up, you get off-track, and you'll need to recommit. Or even change your commitment. That's how it works. Just look out for thoes momenst, and be willing to repeat the process.

Where do you need to commit to something in your life?

For sure, if you haven't committed to your business, I invite you to do it now. I'm sure the technique works with other props than dog toys ;)

indigo-sky-medium.jpgNew Features in Simplero

We just launched the ability to invite admins that don't have access to your aggregate financial data, so you can have a VA working for you without them being able to see just how much dough you're raking in.

We've also released a tiered affiliate system, so you can have your affiliates sign up other affiliates and make a buck or two in the process.

And you can now do a collection of a partial or manual amount, rather than collection only being the total outstanding amount.

As always, tens of daily commits, lots of little improvements and bug fixes.

It's a really exciting time to be working at Simplero HQ.

Dentists forgot to study flossing for 100 years and it turns out there's not much evidence it does anything.

Barcelona's superblocks are an awesome idea. (Note to self: Gotta visit Barcelona again soon.)

Love this graphic of how Angry Birds started.

Have a fantastic summer week (if you're up here in the Northern hemisphere, that is).

Lots of love,
