Subject: News from Simplero: Redefining Entrepreneurship

Dear Lovely Simplerista

You may not know this about Simplero, but we don't think of ourselves as a software company. We're more like a lab looking to redefine entrepreneurship.

So much of the talk in business is about all the rational stuff. The what and the how. The numbers and the strategies. But we all know there's so much more to life than that. So why do we tend to check that at the door when it comes to business?

Love is what makes the world go round. The same should be the case in business.

If we're not doing it from a place of love—love for ourselves, love for the people we work with, love for our customers, love for our community, and the world—why are we doing it at all?

We want to be in a place where we're creating—products, businesses, business relationships, anything—because we're overflowing with love, and can't help but share it.

It may sound idealistic, but I bet there's a place in you that knows it's possible, and wants this for yourself too. I'm here to tell you it is possible. And getting there is worthwhile.

Yes, sometimes there are things that just have to get done. But even in those situations, you can do them from a place of absolute acceptance. And if it stays like that for too long, something has to change.

In jazz improvisation, you can hear the difference between when someone's just playing riffs on routine, or when they're really there, their soul present in every note, or every pause.

That's what we're going for. We want to find a way to be fully alive, present, connected, in every moment in our work as entrepreneurs.
